6コア12スレッドのモデルは「Core i9-8950HK」が1製品と「Core i7シリーズ」「Core i5シリーズ」「Xeon E2000Mシリーズ」が2製品ずつの合わせて計７製品。
「Core i9-8950HK」と「Xeon E-2186M」は新しい自動クロックアップ技術「Thermal Velocity Boost Technology（TVB）」を用いて、シングルコアブースト時の最大クロックがノートPCとしては極めて高い4.8GHzをたたき出します！！
このうちいわゆる「ゲームノート」に使われるのは「Core i9-8950HK」「Core i7-8750H」「Core i5-8300H」の３つで、他4つは企業向けとのこと。

「PCI ExpressおよびThunderbolt 3のアクセス遅延低減」によって「Core i9-8950HK」は第7世代の「Kaby Lake-H」と比べて総合性能で最大29％高いだけでなく、純然たるゲームのフレームレートも最大41％、ゲームをプレイしながら配信と録画を行ったときの性能も最大32％高いとそうです。
ノートPC向けUシリーズ
「U-Series Processors with Intel Iris Plus Graphics」はTDP 28Wモデル。
インテルは「14nm＋＋プロセス」の「Kaby Lake Refresh」CPUを「第8世代Coreプロセッサ」として2017年にリリースしていますが、今回のUシリーズの発表で、薄型ノートPC向けに「Coffee Lake」世代のCPUが加わります。
「U-Series Processors with Intel Iris Plus Graphics」の最大の特徴は統合型グラフィックス機能「Iris Plus Graphics」を採用するところ。
グラフィックス処理用のDRAM「eDRAM」を最大128 MB実装するちょっといいやつです。

ただし、「Coffee Lake-H」がサポートする「Thermal Velocity Boost Technology（TVB）」や「PCI ExpressおよびThunderbolt 3のアクセス遅延低減」はサポートしません。
デスクトップPC向け新Sシリーズ
Sシリーズの新モデルはデスクトップPC向け下位モデルのみで、発売済みの「Core i7 8700K」を超えるような製品はありません。
でも、高性能の低消費電力PCを作りたいと考えている人は注目かも知れませんね。
ラインナップは「Core i」製品と「Celeron 」、「Pentium 」合わせて14モデル。
秋葉原ではT付モデルの「Pentium 」がバルク品として発売されていて、たくさんありすぎてわかりませんｗｗｗ。
「Pentium Gold G5400」なんかはコスパが良くてバカ売れの予想。

インテル300シリーズチップセット
新チップセットは「Intel H370」「Intel H310」「Intel Q370」「Intel B360」の4モデル。
今まで「Z370」チップセットのマザーボードしかなかったので、CPUを安く抑えてもあまりコスパがいいとは言えませんでしたねぇwww。
でもこれで大丈夫。
自作するにしてもBTOパソコンを買うにしても、少しは安くあがります。

「Intel Q370」は「vPro Technology」をサポートした企業向け製品。
「Intel H370」はミドルクラス向け、「Intel B360」がエントリークラス向け。
「Intel H310」は今どき「USB 3.1 Gen 2」や「PCI Express 3.0」に対応しない、「M.2スロット」がPCIe Gen2接続だったりという、スペック的にエントリーのエントリーという感じなので、小型PC向けとか激安自作向けのチップセットかもしれません。
その他は100シリーズ、200シリーズと変わらない感じですね。
ちなみに「Intel B350」じゃなくて「Intel B360」なのは「AMD」が先に「B350」という型番を使っちゃったからwww。

まとめ
初めの「Coffee Lake」が発売されてけっこうたちますが、これでやっと上から下までラインナップされた感じですね。
ノートＰＣも6コア12スレッドＣＰＵを搭載した強力な製品が出てくるんではないでしょうか。
コスパを求める自作派の人達もうれしい感じですよねwww。
